First Friday's "Holly Days" is Friday in downtown Warsaw.

This is the seventh First Friday. It will be from 5 to 8 p.m., according to Keith Reinholt, First Friday organizer.

There will not be a First Friday in January, but a First Friday is being planned for Feb. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. with the theme "Fire and Ice" featuring Michiana Ice Carvers Association.

During this Friday's event, there will be food specials and discounts from downtown Warsaw merchants.

People can enjoy a sleigh ride or horse-drawn wagon ride to see Christmas lights in Central Park. The cost per person is either a can of food or a gift for "Toys for Tots."

The downtown will be decorated for Christmas with luminaries on each block.

There will be a live nativity scene by the former National City Bank parking lot provided by First Christian Church.

A Santa Clause house will be on the courthouse square with Santa visiting. Warsaw Morning Optimist Club will sponsor taking pictures. People can see live reindeer and other live animals by the Santa Clause house.

Master Gardeners will bell ring for Salvation Army and provide Christmas caroling.

People also can see an antique sleigh, weather permitting, on the courthouse square, provided by Lee and Mary Hartle. Bob List will take pictures.

A Christmas show will be at the County Annex Building, 202 W. Main St., formerly First Christian Church. The show will feature Deb Collier School of Dance at 6 p.m., and the Lincoln and Leesburg elementary schools choirs at 7 p.m.

Christmas stories will be read inside the former Reader's World building.

Stories will be read at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Giverny kids, led by Katye Tom. Free Christmas coloring books for children will be provided. The event is being sponsored by Lake City Bank and Eric and Bobbi Kosins.

The movie "Home Alone" will be shown at 6 p.m. at Warsaw Community Public Library.

A community Christmas tree lighting will be at Lake City Bank, 202 E. Center St., at 6 p.m.

People can vote for which downtown business is the best decorated for Christmas.

Kosciusko County Historical Society will open the jail museum, 121 N. Indiana St.

The Lake City Bank hummer will be driven around the downtown playing Christmas music.
