First Friday 'Fall Into Fashion, Warsaw's Got Style' Set

First Friday “Fall Into Fashion, Warsaw’s Got Style” is Friday. The event is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. downtown Warsaw. Deb Collier’s School of Dance will perform at the center stage at 5:30 p.m. There will be cloggers at 6 p.m. Downtown merchants will model their merchandise at 7 p.m. This will include “Life Is Good” clothing from Dennie House, menswear by Male Fashions, Merle Norman cosmetics and clothing, Blue Moon Shoes, Celebrations Costumes, Tony’s Tees, and children’s and women’s clothing from The Mix. The Next Chapter will model backpacks; hand knit clothing from The Shuttle Shop will be modeled, as will embroidered clothing by Designs by Kim, and several vendors will have dogs. Hair and nail styles will be shown. Giverny Fitness Studio will do zumba at 6:30 p.m. with attendees participating in front of the business. There will be a kids activity with hula hoops. Echoes of the Past will show antique tractors and will make homemade ice cream. Warsaw automobile dealers will premiere new 2012 models, and a selection of quality pre-owned vehicles also will be featured. There will be several vendors and inflatable games staffed by Mission Point Church on the courthouse lawn. The Master Gardeners will teach kids leaf rubbing that can be made into a bracelet. There will be rock climbing and a dunk tank. The Dennie House will do a bag toss with prizes for children and adults in front of Dennie Electric.Presbyterian Preschool will do a princess parlor and bat cave with face painting, nails and hair. There will be Henna tattoos at Merle Norman. The downtown merchants will have deals, and food will be available. Rex’s Rendezvous will bring out their hot dog stand. Brown Bag Deli will do steak and chicken on a stick and snow cones. Chops Fire Pit will be in front of Merle Norman. Many specials will be available at other downtown restaurants. Tote bags that can be recycled will be available for $10 at various merchants. There will be a large display of furniture and home decor featuring merchandise from Warsaw’s downtown merchants. First Christian Church will host an information booth, and they will be distributing freezer pops. People dressed as Spider-Man and Captain America will roam the streets.
