Posted

Fireworks traditionally light up the night skies each July Fourth. Since the Fourth of July falls on a Wednesday this year, the fireworks demonstrations have been spread out throughout that week.

Winona Lake's fireworks are a treat for two cities. Scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m. Satuday, viewers can watch the colorful display from the fairgrounds in Warsaw, where parking and seating will be available, or from the Winona Lake Park. The evend attracts thousands of viewers each year.

On the Fourth of July Chapman Lake Conservation Club is sponsoring fireworks on the west end of Big Chapman Lake near Osborn's Landing; Manchester College's annual fireworks will be set off over Burt Memorial Stadium beginning at 9 p.m.; and Lakeside Park is the place to see fireworks over Syracuse Lake.

July 7 Lake Tippecanoe will be lit with a colorful show sponsored by the Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Association beginning at 9:30 p.m.; another display over Webster Lake, sponsored by the Webster Lake Association, begins at dusk; Lake Wawasee's fireworks are choreographed to music at approximately 9 p.m.
