A special firemen's dedication ceremony was held in the Old Jail Museum Wednesday honoring past and present Warsaw firemen. The event opened an exhibit of memorabilia, photographs, scrapbooks, newspaper articles and other items donated by Mrs. Norman Banghart, whose late husband was Warsaw fire chief for 22-1/2 years before he retired in 1979. Mrs. Banghart was a charter member of the Ladies' Firemen's Auxiliary and served in that organization for many years. Pictured are Fire Chief Matt Warren (L) and Mrs. Banghart discussing an item. The exhibit is on display in the second floor 'common area' of the jail portion of the museum. Photo by Teresa Carrano, Times-Union
