Pierceton Elementary fourth-grade student Guinevere Garr is pictured presenting Pierceton Fireman Matt Brubaker with fall mums. Garr planted the flowers at the Pierceton Fire Station in honor of the firemen who gave their lives on 9/11. She is in Lynn Studebaker’s class and participated in the nationwide ‘I Will’ movement to honor those who helped others on 9/11. The students then wrote about their experiences volunteering and helping others.
