BOURBON - The family of eight who lost their house in a fire Tuesday has found a place to live.
The James Bocko family will be moving into Mrs. Bocko's grandmother's house on East Jefferson in Bourbon. The empty house was up for sale, but for the next few months the Bockos and their six children will live there while they wait on their home to be gutted and repaired.
The home was insured, but there is an immediate need for furniture, clothing, small appliances, non-perishable food, baby supplies and school supplies.
Clothing needs include infant sizes 3-6 months (boy) and disposable diapers; sizes 3T-4T (girl) and large diapers; sizes 4T-5 (girl) in pants and tops and size 6 dresses; small in women's and bottoms in sizes 11-12 juniors; medium in women's and size 6 in misses pants and skirts; large tops and size 10 misses pants and skirts.
Anyone wanting to help the Bocko family may contact them at 342-2581, or call Brent Leichty at 342-0704. A fund for donations will be established at the First State Bank of Bourbon.
