NORTH WEBSTER - A pole barn and its contents are listed as a total loss after a fire this morning near North Webster.
A cause for the 4:57 a.m. fire that destroyed the 55-foot by 110-foot structure remains under investigation. North Webster Fire Department officials said the contents included several tractors, a 2-day-old motorhome and several cages full of pheasants.
The property, at 8858 E. CR 400N, is owned by Bruce Cavell.
NWFD was assisted at the scene with manpower and a tanker from Pierceton Fire Department.
