There are 10 firefighters from departments in Goshen, Elkhart and South Bend who have been deployed to help relieve southern Indiana firefighters who have been working since the March 2 tornado hit.
The firefighters have been deployed through Indiana Department of Homeland Security District 2 Response task force. The district includes St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Pulaski and Fulton counties.
