Fire Claims Pierceton Home

PIERCETON - Early Tuesday morning, a Pierceton man arrived home to find his house fully engulfed by fire.
According to a press release from Pierceton Fire Department Lt. Nathan Rhoades, at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday, the PFD was dispatched to a house fire at 5119 E. CR 100S, Pierceton.
The units first arriving on scene advised the fire was through the roof. The home owner advised he arrived home to his house fully engulfed by fire, the release states.
County records indicate the home is owned by Aaron J. Munson.
The fire remains under investigation and the loss value is still being determined, the release states.
Pierceton was assisted by Tippecanoe Township-North Webster, Warsaw-Wayne Township, Winona Lake and Sidney fire departments.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the home owner.
