The cause of a Sunday morning fire that damaged a Warsaw apartment building containing three apartments remains under investigation today. Residents of the apartments at 1404 E. Center St. escaped the fire without injury. Investigators preliminarily reported the fire started in an exterior wall of the building. The fire began about 4 a.m. Sunday, and a resident was awakened by a smoke detector. The extent of damage was unknown early today. Photo by Gary Nieter - Times-Union
