Kosciusko County’s Burger Wars is down to its final four contestants in the search for the best burger in the area.
Winnowed down from eight local favorites, the four finalists were determined by a bracket contest on the Convention and Visitors Bureau website. The top four are:

• The Hoe Burger from American Legion Post 253, North Webster.
• The Outrigger from Channel Marker, Syracuse.
• The Balsamic Goat Cheese Burger from Rozella Ford, Warsaw.
The voting for the Burger War Final Four bracket is open now and will continue through Monday at noon on visitors bureau’s website, www.koscvb.org/burgerwars
Starting at 12:01 p.m.  Monday, the final round of voting will be held between the final two burgers. Voting is limited to one vote per person per day.
A special “taste off” was held Wednesday with a panel of five judges voting for their favorite burger in each bracket. The judges  were Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer, Syracuse Police Chief Tony Ciriello, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Executive Director Suzie Light, Assistant Superintendent of Warsaw Community Schools David Hoffert and KCCF Development Director Brenda Rigdon.
The panel chose the B-Mac Burger as the winning burger in bracket one and the Outrigger in bracket two.
