The Kosciusko Cares Film Camp invites local teenagers, ages 13-18, to audition for its Film Camp film projects Friday at 1692 W. Lake St., Warsaw. This is the United Methodist Church, or otherwise known as The Connection. Auditions will begin at 9:30 a.m. Email jessica@kosciuskocares.org to sign up. Film camp writers are casting two public service announcement commercials, a sketch comedy and a movie trailer, according to a press release from Kosciusko Cares. They are seeking speaking roles and non-speaking roles for the projects. Some actors will play more than one role. Actors will receive scripts at the audition to read. Teens will have a few minutes to look at the scripts before they read. A teen may be asked to read between one to three roles. The short films will be released to Kosciusko Cares’ Youtube channel at Youtube.com/kosciuskocares and released as movie theater ads at North Pointe Cinemas. The films are a part of the Kosciusko Cares positive messaging campaign, the release states. If cast, actors will be notified Saturday. A required rehearsal will happen from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. Filming will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through June 17. Not everyone will be needed for the entire week. Participants should bring a headshot or a printed photo of themselves with their name written on the back of their photo to the audition. They also should bring any scheduling conflicts with them as well. Email jessica@kosciuskocares.org to sign up for an audition or for more information about the auditions.
