Filing for the 2000 May 2 primary ends at noon Friday.
To file, a person need only go to the Kosciusko County clerk's office in the Justice Building and file a form for candidacy. There is no filing fee.
People seeking a seat on a school board must file at the clerk's office in the county where the majority of the school's population is located. Those seeking a state office file at the state level, but usually also file locally as a courtesy.
The general election is Nov. 7.
