FORT WAYNE – Kennedy Fierstos set the all-time Manchester girls basketball three-point record Tuesday.
Fierstos, a senior, hit two treys for 94 career three-pointers in Manchester’s 49-35 loss at Fort Wayne Luers.
Fierstos surpassed Megan Eckert’s previous record of 92 three-pointers, set in 1999.
“I am very proud of the work (Fierstos) put in during the offseason and this season to achieve this great accomplishment,” said Manchester coach Jake Everett.
Fierstos led Manchester with 12 points, while Eva Bazzoni had 11.
The Lady Squires started the game slow, scoring just 11 points in the first half.
“We didn’t start the game we needed to,” Everett said. “Luers forced us into too many turnovers early.”
Manchester (6-5) will host Southwood Friday, with a junior varsity tipoff at 5 p.m.
