FEMA Recognizes CountyMatt Sandy (second from left), Kosciusko County assistant planner and flood plain administrator, presented a plaque from the Federal Emergency Management Agency recognizing the county's continued administration of regulations and programs to protect residents from losses caused by flooding, and keeping insurance rates down. The plaque was presented to Sandy at the annual conference of the Indiana Association of Floodplain and Stormwater Management in Evansville earlier this month. Sandy presented the plaque to county commissioners (L to R) Brad Jackson, Bob Conley and Cary Groninger at Tuesday’s commissioners meeting.
