A Warsaw woman faces charges after police allege she illegally entered a home and choked a resident.
Olivia Stacy, 20, of 890 Walkers Ridge, was arrested last week but formal charges were filed Monday.
Stacy is charged with felony counts of residental entry and strangulation. Police say Stacy was in the house on Walker Ridge illegally, where a relative told her to leave.
Stacy allegedly chest-bumped the relative, and the woman walked away.
Police say Stacy then grabbed the woman from behind by the neck and throat, making it difficult for her to breathe. The women fell down the stairs, and the relative was able to break away and phone police.
Stacy’s initial bond was set at $5,250. She has since bonded out.
