DePuy received a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration this week.
The company, which makes joint replacements, has been warned by the FDA that it is illegally marketing two products.
DePuy was notified that it is selling a product never approved for sale and another for uses that have not been specifically approved.
The FDA wrote in a letter that DePuy, based in Warsaw, is marketing its Corail Hip System for two unapproved uses, and that TruMatch Personalized Solution System was never approved.
