Interestingly, Father's Day is about to be. If gays were in control, there would never be a Father's Day. More than that, with gays, man would become extinct. With gays, man cannot repopulate. Gays would put themselves out of business also.
The father is to be the head of the house. I think that is Biblical. Children are the most valuable asset parents have. Raising children should be a concern. All children do not always turn out what you hope them to be. Thanks be to God, He has provided a way that parents can be sure their children will be pleasing to God. Christ said, "I am the way." He is a sure way.
I must warn parents of one thing, that is that they should never do if a child does not turn out as they wish - that is never, never tell them to get out of your home. A child never, never forgets that and parents cannot help a child when he or she is not home. Parents take the sure route - follow (accept) Christ as Savior forever. Teach each child the same.
