Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
New Year's Eve is Sunday, but people still will be partying.
And some of those parties will include alcohol. But instead of drinking and then driving in Warsaw, call for a free cab ride.
Anywhere within the Warsaw city limits, it'll be free Sunday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Fast Cab Taxi Co. is offering free cab rides for the 19th straight year within the city limits of Warsaw.
"Give us a call and we'll pick you up," said Dave Cesaretti, Fast Cab owner.
He said the 21-year-old company will have its full fleet out in force Sunday night. To call for a free cab ride, call 574-269-2222. Reservations for a cab can be made.
The free taxi rides on New Year's Eve is a way for Cesaretti and his business to show their appreciation for their customers.
Cesaretti said without the generosity of the sponsors, the annual free cab rides would not be possible. The sponsors this year include Five Star Distributor, Bogey's Steakhouse, Rex's Rendezvous, Warsaw Bowl Bar, Liquid Assets, Maple Leaf Grille, Susie's Sandbar, American Legion, Moose Lodge, North Side Lanes, Service Liquors, Schrader's Automotive, Bennigan's, Time Out Inn and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
"We'll get you home safely," Cesaretti said. "Don't drive, it's a free ride."
