Editor, Times-Union: Concerning this Fast and Furious debacle:
Why such a furor over releasing documents etc. over such a simple thing as tracing where a bunch of American firearms end up in Mexico? Sad fact that some were used to kill a U.S. border officer.
But the idea of sending said firearms into Mexico doesn't make any sense. Is there perhaps some other reason for this action? There's got to be some really big thing missing here to make Holder and Obama deadset on some of papers not made public.
Is there any chance that this action had some other reason to be put in place? Surely it wouldn't have something to do with Second Amendment. Just a wild thought but it could explain some drastic actions that are taking place.
