Fire territory, KREMC, KCH join to offer fun with a message

Family Safety Day is Sept. 10. It is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Warsaw’s Central Park. Join Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and other organizations like KREMC, Lutheran Health Network KCH and Protechs, Inc. for the event. Besides offering a wealth of life-saving information, there will be lots of fun, too. There will be zip line rides, a free safe-assured ID for kids, the opportunity to save a life (donate blood), boat rides and a bicycle rodeo. Attendees also will have a chance to meet someone “famous” because Daren the DARE lion and Sparky the Fire Dog will both be on hand. There also will be a chance to win a bicycle and other prizes along with free face painting and bicycle helmets.
