Fall Prep Callouts, Tryouts

Remember, physical forms must be completed and submitted in order to compete. Forms are available at all high school athletic offices.

Practice for girls golf begins this week, with the other fall sports scheduled to start Aug. 3.

The following are a few of the tryouts and callouts.

Tippecanoe Valley

High School

Boys Tennis

For any boy interested in playing on the Tippecanoe Valley High School boys tennis team, practice will begin Aug. 3 from 8-10 a.m. at the high school courts.

Practices will be Monday through Friday 8-10 a.m. and also 6-8 p.m. Questions should be directed to Rod Hamman at 353-7066 or leave a message at the high school.

Football

Tippecanoe Valley High School football practices will begin Aug. 3. Freshmen will practice from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and grades 10-12 will practice from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Those in grades 10-12 need to bring a sack lunch.

Any player who needs equipment should report to the locker room at 7:30 a.m.

Warsaw Community

High School

Girls Golf

Warsaw's girls golf team will have tryouts beginning July 31 at 7 a.m. at Rozella Ford Golf Course. Physicals and athletic codes must be brought to the first day in order to practice.

Tryouts will continue Aug. 1 and 3. Warsaw's first match will be Aug. 4 at East Noble.

Boys Tennis

Tryouts for the Warsaw Community High School boys tennis team will be Aug. 3 at 7:30 a.m. at the high school courts.

Practice for the first two weeks will be two-a-days from 7:30-9 a.m. and noon-1:30 p.m.

Cross Country

Any girl wanting to run on the WCHS cross country team this fall should report to the high school Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. by the silo.

Any boy wanting to run on the team should report to the high school Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. by the silo.

Volleyball

Tryouts for volleyball will run Aug. 3-6 from 8 a.m. until noon. All athletes should bring a light snack with them.

Boys Soccer

The Warsaw boys soccer team will begin practices Aug. 3. The team will practice from 6 a.m. until 7 a.m. at the Lakeview Middle School track and then from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the CCAC.

Wawasee High School

Boys Tennis

The Wawasee boys tennis team will begin practices under head coach Phil Mishler Aug. 3 at 9 a.m.

Cross Country

Any students interested in competing in cross country at Wawasee High School should report to the west practice field Aug. 3 at 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. for practice.

All runners must have a physical to practice.

Whitko High School

Volleyball

Volleyball tryouts at Whitko High School will begin Aug. 3 at 3 p.m. for girls in grades 9-12. This tryout will take place at the high school.

All those interested must have a completed physical form on file before the first practice.

Boys Tennis

Boys tennis tryouts will take place at Whitko Middle School Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. All athletes must have a completed physical to practice.

Cross Country

Boys and girls cross country tryouts will begin at 7 a.m. Aug. 3 at Whitko High School. All athletes must have a completed physical before the first practice.

Manchester High School

Football

Manchester High School football practice will begin Aug. 3 from 7-11:30 a.m. at the high school.
