NORTH MANCHESTER - F. Pauline Hapner, 99, of North Manchester, died at 8 p.m. Feb. 25, 2010, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Jan. 6, 1911, in Wabash County, to Jonathan and Mary Effie Forsythe Grossnickle.
On Nov. 30, 1929, she married Hugo Carl Hapner, who died March 30, 1973.
She was a homemaker and worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, for 10 years. She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, and a former member of World War II Mothers.
Surviving are two sons, Russell W. (and spouse Jo Ann) Hapner, Wabash, and Gene Hapner, North Manchester; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, three daughters, four brothers and five sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
