Explicit Video Leads To Winona Man’s ArrestA Winona Lake man was arrested after admitting he was having sex with an underage girl and police found explicit video and images of her on his phone.
Connor Martan Hall, 20, of 1219 Bibler Ave., Winona Lake, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 4:13 p.m. Friday for sexual misconduct with a minor. His bond was set at $10,000 surety and $250 cash.
Court documents filed Tuesday list the charges against him as sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 5 felony; and child pornography, a level 6 felony.
Warsaw Police Department officer Wayne Wilkie, responding to a domestic complaint, spoke with a woman who said a teenage girl and the girl’s boyfriend, Hall, were causing problems. The girl wanted to leave with Hall.
Court documents do not indicate how the woman and the girl were related.
The girl told WPD Officer Paul Heaton that she’s been having sex with Hall for about 1½ years. She said she began having sex with Hall when she was 14.
Hall admitted to Heaton that he began having sex with the girl sometime during September 2017 in North Webster when the girl was 14.
Heaton obtained Hall’s cellphone and with Hall’s consent looked in the phone. He found a video of the girl and Hall having sex. There also were about 150 explicit images of the girl involving nudity, according to court documents.
