Editor, Times-Union: Please get me up to speed. I cannot understand what I see on the TV news and in the papers. All the talk about Russia and China supposedly are tampering with government and high officials’ emails. I understand the U.S. owes China mega bucks. We borrowed money from China to keep our government running. Does any of this make sense? This is like asking the fox to watch and protect the chicken house. Let us take responsibility to safeguard our country and stop trying to save the rest of the world. That’s what I am looking for in the next president of the United States. Someone God-fearing, common sense and integrity. Is that too much to ask for? Mary Cotner Warsaw
