WINONA LAKE - Local businesses wanting to get the word out about their products or services can help their cause by becoming an exhibitor at Taste & Trade Expo 2007.
The Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake will be the site of Kosciusko County's first combined "taste of" and business expo Oct. 12-13. The deadline to sign up as an exhibitor for the event is Aug. 29.
The Expo will highlight the businesses, restaurants and caterers that are available in Kosciusko County, and it will be advertised in all the surrounding counties as well as locally.
The event, coordinated by the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber Of Commerce, also will feature special presentations from Denny Hepler, golf professional and winner of "Big Break VI"; Grace College Men's Basketball Coach Jim Kessler, who will speak about "Life Without Hoops"; and national speaker Dan Surface, who will discuss customer service.
Cooking demonstrations will be presented by Bogey's Steakhouse. Door prizes will be awarded, and many surprises are planned.
