Editor, Times-Union:
Like many people across the nation, I’m sick of all of these mass shootings in public places, especially in schools.
Even more, I’m fed up with the many media commentators, cops and others who repeatedly spout off after these incidents; most often their opinions are “These incidents of violence are results of a ‘mental health issue.’”
Bull!
These issues are the direct results of the spiritual evil that has been allowed to grow and fester throughout the past 25 to 45 years, due to the Christian churches having grown cold, callous and lazy.
There are few churches in America which have the guts to stand against evil anymore. People’s hearts have grown cold, numb to the battle of right vs. wrong. Children have not been taught about the love of God, the Creator of all that exists!
Who is teaching children about the love and sacrifice of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ? What do any of these churches in America teach nowadays?
Children and teenagers, even young adults in the 20s and 30s, have grown up empty in their hearts, souls and minds. With no knowledge of God in their beings, Satan and a large number of demon spirits are more than ready to jump at the chance to enter a lost and wounded, hurting child, teenager or adult soul that is searching for something to fill the emptiness, the loneliness, which has been all that some people have ever known.
I blame parents, grandparents, siblings, schools, the entire populations of cities, towns, churches and so on ... for allowing a culture of stone-cold hearts to ever develop in children.
All a child truly desires in life is to be loved, cared for, given attention, affection, to have friends, to feel wanted, and made to know and believe that he or she has a purpose in this world. But where is the love that tells each child, teen or adult that such is the case, the truth?
My wife and I know that pain of loneliness, isolation, ridicule and abuse. We hated it in our lives, and we hate what it has done to people we hear about in the news. Wake up!
