Evelyn Marie Snively, 85, Pierceton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 9:03 a.m. Jan. 28, 2014, at Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. She was born April 2, 1928, in Davenport, Iowa, to Verne Lester Hall and Clara Marie Napier Hall. On Oct. 31, 1947, she married Howard Max Snively, who survives in Pierceton. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 25 years. She worked as a secretary for numerous businesses throughout her life, and was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a person that was loved by all. She will also be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Dan (and spouse Joan) Snively, Indianapolis, and Mike (and spouse Beth) Snively, Warsaw; two daughters, Dianne (and spouse Joe) Lund, Upland, and Jani (and spouse Ed) Strang, Pierceton; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, with Pastor Jack Worth officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
