ROCHESTER — Evelyn M. Braman, 92, Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On Sept. 28, 1925, Evelyn Marie Van Duyne was born in Fulton County. She was a treasured daughter of Fred K. and Mildred Fultz Van Duyne.

Left to cherish Evelyn's memory are two daughters, Judy Taylor (husband Russ), Plymouth, and Pat Rathbun (husband Cam), Akron; three sons: Bill Braman (wife Georgina), St. Augustine Beach, Fla.; Phil Braman (wife Monica), Warsaw; and John Braman, Hamden, Conn.; 10 grandchildren: Andrea Bortell, Matthew Braman, Christopher Braman, Tom Braman, Rhen Taylor, Gail Crone, Heather Buckley, Derek Adamson, Clayton Adamson and Katie Braman Green; eight great-grandchildren: Kevin Braman, Elise Bortell, Brenna Bortell, Natalie Crone, Liam Buckley, Brock Adamson, Parker Adamson and Kenzie Adamson; a sister, Marilyn Masterson (husband Randy), Rochester; a brother, Fredrick Van Duyne,  Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Evelyn in death were her parents; beloved husband of 58 years, Calvin, on May 21, 2004; daughter, Sherri Adamson, Jan. 7, 2013; a brother, Dean Arthur, at the age of 3; and two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Phillips and Dorcas Van Duyne.

A celebration of the life of Evelyn Braman will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor William Cleyman officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
