NAPPANEE – Evelyn Louise Mikel, 81, Nappanee, died at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 2014, at Elkhart General Hospital, after a short illness. She was born June 27, 1932, in Baugo Township, Elkhart County, to Francis Lee and Mary Elizabeth Seitz Perry. On May 1, 1955, in the Wakarusa Missionary Church, she married Lowell Mikel, who survives. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Nappanee Missionary Church with Pastor Norm Reimer officiating. Burial is in Hepton Union Cemetery.
