Eva Belle Freeman, 93, passed away at 2:50 a.m. April 3, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth. She was born Feb. 6, 1920, in Pierceton, to Ora Edward and Pearl Jane Copeland Priser. On Jan. 1, 1939, in Syracuse, she married Dale D. Freeman, who died Feb. 4, 2003. Living most of her life in the Warsaw area, she was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. She attended Plymouth Baptist Church, Plymouth. Her faith was important. she sewed her clothes, taught herself to play the organ and enjoyed organ music. She loved her grandchildren and they remember her waking them up by tickling them. She enjoyed going on fishing trips, wintering in Florida and going to the fair. She loved to walk and go out to eat. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Freeman, Plymouth; two granddaughters, Cathy (and spouse Tom) Jolly and Christy Murphy, all of Plymouth; two grandsons, David (and spouse Stefanie) Freeman and Daniel Freeman, all of Plymouth; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Rose (and spouse Robert) Lockridge, Warsaw, and Beverly Hoffer, Nappanee. She also was preceded in death by a son, Richard Freeman, who died April 3, 2006; five brothers: Ora Priser Jr.; Joe Priser, who died in 1999; Jim Priser, who died Jan. 4, 1992; Kenny Priser, who died in 1998; and Chuck Priser; and five sisters: Joann Priser; Louise Coldren, who died Dec. 6, 2009; Viola Fletcher, who died June 18, 2008; Marge Moore; and Marie Haines, who died April 11, 1991. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Dave Hummel of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
