Eunice Josephine Shively, 92, of 201 Rowland Ave., Leesburg, died at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 20, 2011, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Ross Township, Vermillion County, Ill., to Waverly and Myrtle Roberts. On May 19, 1941, at Leesburg Methodist Church, she married Donald Shively, who died June 30, 1997.
Moving to Leesburg from Illinois in 1932, she was a teller at Peoples State Bank, was a member of Leesburg Methodist Church and graduated from Leesburg High School in 1936.
Surviving are a son, Jon (and spouse Deborah) Shively, Warsaw; three grandsons, Jeremy (and spouse Jennifer) Dick, Omaha, Neb., and Benjamin (and spouse Sarah) Shively and Matthew (and spouse Kara) Shively, all of Warsaw; four great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Madison Dick and Claire and Elise Shively; and a son-in-law, Dr. James Dick, Omaha, Neb. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Shively Dick.
A private graveside service will be at a later date in Leesburg Cemetery.
No calling is planned.
