NAPPANEE – Eugene Ray Hershberger, 72, Nappanee, died unexpectedly at 1:41 p.m. March 18, 2014, while walking near his home. He was born April 18, 1941, in Bremen to Ezra and Laura Schmucker Hershberger. On Nov. 5, 1961, in Nappanee he married Ida Mae Schrock, who survives. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church, with Bishop Lyle Miller and the church ministry officiating. Burial is in Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
