NAPPANEE – Eugene E. “Gene” Yoder, 83, Nappanee, died at 6:06 a.m. Feb. 11, 2016, at IU Health, Goshen. He was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Bremen, to Elva and Lydian Mast Yoder. On Nov. 22, 1961, in Nappanee, he married Patty A. Tobias, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Brethren Church, Nappanee, with the Revs. Bart Shaw and Tom Schiefer officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery with military graveside services by the Nappanee American Legion.
