NOTICE OF A HEARING ON PROPOSED RATES AND CHARGES FOR ETNA GREEN WATER UTILITY Property owners, rate payers and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the Water Utility of the Town of Etna Green are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2014-12 establishing rates and charges for services to be rendered by the waterworks was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council held on November 12, 2014. At a meeting of the Town Council to be held at 7:00 PM on December 9, 2014, in the Etna Green Town Hall, 132 West Broadway Street, Etna Green, Indiana, there will be a public hearing on the matter of the rates and charges and consideration of adoption of said Ordinance No. 2014-12, which provides in part as follows: Section 1. (3) Charge Per Month Phase I Phase II Phase III (Effective (Effective (Effective 1/1/2014) 1/1/2015) 1/1/2016) Public Hydrants- per hydrant* $384.62 $192.31 $0.00 *Public hydrant fee funded from property tax revenue to be transitioned to customer bills over the three phases listed above. At such hearing and prior to final adoption of said Ordinance, all interested parties may appear and be heard. A copy of Ordinance No. 2014-12 may be examined at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, 132 West Broadway Street, Etna Green, Indiana 46524 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays. Users of the works for service to property located outside the municipality's corporate boundaries may be entitled to petition the commission under IC 8-1.5-3-8.3.
