Posted

Two Etna Green residents were arrested by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force Wednesday afternoon for allegedly dealing methamphetamine.

Edward Lee Tubbs, 36, of 9462 Ind. 19N, Etna Green, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail for dealing cocaine/narcotics (a Class A felony), carrying a gun without a permit and driving without a license. His bond was set at $20,000.

Cheryl Ann Miller, 34, of 9462 Ind. 19N, Etna Green, was booked into the county jail for dealing cocaine/narcotics, a Class A felony. Her bond was set at $20,000.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force received several tips about people dealing methamphetamine from a trailer at Lot 5 in Mikel's Trailer Park in Etna Green. Then officers conducted surveillance on the residence.

Wednesday afternoon officers stopped Tubbs in a vehicle near his residence and found marijuana and about one-half pound of methamphetamine in the truck.

Then officers searched Tubbs' residence and found his girlfriend, Miller, in the home with another one-fourth pound of methamphetamine.

Information gathered by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force shows Tubbs and Miller to be large-scale dealers of methamphetamine in the northern Kosciusko County and Nappanee area.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office assisted the drug task force in this case.
