NORTH MANCHESTER – Esther P. Frantz, 84, of North Manchester, died at 6:22 a.m. Jan. 21, 2013, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born July 21, 1928, in Wabash County, to Aaron D. and Mabel F. Metzger Greer. On June 15, 1947, she married Robert L. Frantz, who survives. She was a homemaker and had been an inspector at the former Bryan Manufacturing and United Technology, North Manchester. She graduated from Chester High School in 1946 and attended Victory Christian Fellowship, North Manchester Surviving are a son, Brent Frantz, North Manchester; a daughter, Marlene (and spouse Andy) Pletcher, Plymouth; three sisters, Dorothy Wagoner, Gladys Fingerle and Deloris Walters, all of North Manchester; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Services will be at noon Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Tim Morbitzer officiating.
