Ervin J. "Bud" Sand, 77, formerly of Warsaw, died Oct. 25, 2007, in Fargo, N.D.
He was born Oct. 8, 1930. On April 21, 1956, in Maine, Minn., he married Virginia Peterson, who survives.
He served in the U.S. Army as a first sergeant and was promoted to lieutenant in the Combat Artillery Core. He was honorably discharged in June 1960. He was a 4th Degree Knight. He was a craftsman, business entrepreneur, builder and designer.
Also surviving are six children: Mark, Brian, John, Philip, Mrs. Jerry (Michelle) Baus and Melissa; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, Maine.
