Ernestine Louise Sagarsee Harvey, 82, Warsaw, passed away due to complications from a stroke at 6:14 p.m. May 12, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Kokomo to John and Thelma Bradshaw Sagarsee. On Feb. 3, 1951, in Sharpsville she married Dwaine Richey, who survives. In the summer of 1990 in Somerset she married Dick Harvey, who died Dec. 7, 1991.
A resident of the Kokomo and Warsaw areas, she was a homemaker who also worked in retail and bookkeeping. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Warsaw Singles Club. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing and had a love of life and people.
Surviving are five children: Randy (and spouse Virginia) Richey, Sharpsville; Mike (and spouse Peggy) Richey, Morgantown; Patsy (and spouse Steve) Bowers, Talmoon, Minn.; Cheryl (and spouse Dan) Wyatt, Warsaw; Jim (and spouse Ellen) Richey, Russiaville; three sisters: Violet Radabaugh, Kokomo; Roberta (and spouse Leroy) Colter, Kokomo; and Mildred Tow, Jupiter, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Lewis, John, Claude and Donald Sagarsee.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Roy Blake officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.
