AKRON - Erman J. Dotson, 90, of 8764 S. CR 425W, Silver Lake, died at 6:02 p.m. March 21, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, following a sudden illness.
He was born April 15, 1917, in Salyersville, Ky., to Dr. M.T. and Eva Joseph Dotson. On March 23, 1952, in Prestonsburg, Ky., he married Arizona Prater, who survives.
Living in the North Manchester and Silver Lake areas since 1962, he worked at Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, and was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake.
Also surviving are a daughter, Krystal (and spouse Harold) Napier, Silver Lake; two sons, Paul (and spouse Sandy) Dotson, Jerome, Mich., and Finley Dotson, Chatham, Va.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester St., Akron, with the Revs. Carl Hughes and Mike Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
