AKRON – Erma Jean Walters, 93, rural Akron, died at 9:25 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.
Erma was born April 26, 1926, in Culver, to Daniel and Eva Myers Burkett. She was married Aug. 13, 1949, in Rochester, to Kenneth R. Walters, who died Aug. 24, 2018.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 3 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Butch Troke officiating. Burial will take place following the service in the Akron Cemetery.
