The Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches recently released its annual academic all-state list, with three local products receiving recognition. Warsaw senior Ashley Erba, who won last year’s cross country state championship, and Whitko senior Holly Frantz were each named academic-all state after receiving honorable mention status in 2011. Also from the area, Warsaw junior Madeline Hooks was named honorable mention, as was Whitko senior Becca Thomson.
