SYRACUSE - Enrique Rodriguez, 87, of North Manchester and formerly of Warsaw, died at 4:35 p.m. Sept. 22, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born June 11, 1921, in Tampa, Fla., to Miguel and Vincenta Rodriguez. On Sept. 23, 1946, he married Mae Louise Rodriguez, who died in 2007.
He was a press mechanic for American Car Company, Tampa, Fla., and was a World War II army veteran.
Surviving are two sons, Henry R. Rodriguez, Downington, Pa., and Gary Rodriguez, North Webster; two sisters, Julia Driskell and Hortense Garcia, both of Tampa, Fla; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be private. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery with military honors by members of the North Webster American Legion.
No calling is planned.
