WINONA LAKE – The Village at Winona is partnering with Grace College to present the Empty Bowls event May 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be under the center pavilion in the brick alley at The Village at Winona. Cash donations will be accepted in return for a handmade bowl full of assorted soups and some bread that represents the many people that go hungry in the area. All proceeds stay here in the community that support agencies that provide food for the hungry.
