NORTH WEBSTER – Emma “Darlene” McIntire, 83, of North Webster, passed away at 11:16 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse.
She was born on Sept. 5, 1937, in Bluffton, to Chester M. and Bernadine C. Mason Scott.
She attended Bluffton High School and was married on April 3, 1954, to Wayne A. McIntire, who preceded her on April 29, 1993. She moved the Syracuse/North Webster area in the late 1980s from Atlanta, Ga., and was a homemaker and seamstress.
She is survived by three daughters: Yvonne Coy, of Warsaw; Cheryl Jackson, of Warsaw; and Judy (Walter) Szarek, of Kennesaw, Ga.; son, Gary McIntire, of North Webster; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Linda Woods, of Utah; and Barb Sheehan, of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Phyllis Tovar; son, Terry McIntire; two infant sisters; and four brothers.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. No services are planned.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
