The Indiana Department of Commerce and Ivy Tech are sponsoring a free vehicle emission testing program from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 8-10 in Warsaw at 850 E. Smith St.
This free, voluntary program carries out 42 tests on each vehicle, including lights, belts, hoses, tires, batteries, gasoline consumption and tailpipe emissions.
"Emission Control has tested approximately 65,000 cars and trucks throughout Indiana in the last 13 years," said Lt. Gov. Joe Kernan. "This is a quick, effective way to help safeguard Indiana's environment and motorists."
The check takes approximately 10 minutes to perform and will be performed by certified auto technicians from Ivy Tech.
