MILFORD - Emilie Sue Ann Carson, 73, of Milford, died at 7:02 a.m. March 29, 2011, in Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1937, in Hammond, to Erhard and Mildred Masepohl Schwant. On Sept. 18, 1955, in North Judson, she married Russell F. Carson, who survives.
She retired from The Visiting Nurses Association of LaPorte County.
Also surviving are a daughter, Amy (and spouse Jeff) Nette, Milford: three sons: Russell E. (and spouse Elaine) Carson, Leesburg; Steve (and spouse Cathy) Carson, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Bryan (and spouse Joelle) Carson, Gas City; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Judy Zahn, Highland. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1720 Center St., Warsaw, with Pastor Stuart Floyd officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date in Door Village Cemetery, LaPorte.
Elkhart Cremation Services, Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
