AKRON – Elsie M. Kats, 84, of Rochester, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019, at her residence.
She was born May 28, 1934, in Hindman, Ky., to Sam and Rose Smith Howard. She married Richard F. Harding in 1951; they divorced. He died Sept. 6, 2012.
She retired from Lau Industries of Rochester after 34 years.
Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. May 9 at Sycamore Cemetery, Mentone.
