BERNE – Elma E. Schwartz, 96, of Berne, passed away Dec. 14, 2012, in Swiss Village. She was a seamstress for Stan’s Men’s Wear for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Anita (and spouse Ronald) Habegger, Fort Wayne; two sons, Rodney (and spouse Judy) Schwartz, Rotonda West, Fla., and Neil Schwartz, Warsaw; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Berne Evangelical Church with Pastor Veryl Roth and Kent Fahls officiating. Burial will be in Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery. Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Swiss Village Chapel and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
