ROCHESTER – Ellen S. Scott, 71, Rochester, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, near Stevensville, Mich., due to injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
On March 23, 1948, Ellen Sue Harts was born in Miami County, the daughter of Richard Zody and Marilyn Jenkins Harts. In Gatlinburg, Tenn., Ellen and Doug were married on June 2, 1997.
A celebration of the life of Ellen Sue Scott will be on Friday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. Pastor Ken Smith and Chaplain Jason See will officiate. Friends may visit with her family from 4 to 7 p.m. on today and an hour prior to services on Friday. Burial will follow at Rochester's IOOF Cemetery.
